? Three international students of Ehime University, from Myanmar, Gabon and Ethiopia, participated in a homestay program in Masaki Town, Ehime Prefecture for three days from June 22 to 24.
? This homestay program, planned annually by the Center for International Education of Ehime University, aims to encourage international students to get to know Ehime better through mutual cultural exchanges with local citizens. The Center for International Education has conducted this homestay program in over 28 different areas of Ehime Prefecture.
? During the program, they had the opportunity to visit an elementary school, where they introduced their home countries in Japanese and answered questions by elementary school students. They enjoyed Japanese games and origami together and in particular looked surprised to see Japanese unique customs of school meals and cleaning up their own classrooms.
