In order for graduate school graduates to be active in society, they need a wide range of general-purpose skills along with knowledge in their field of specialization. Such general-purpose abilities are called transferable skills. Ehime University has established “Ehime University Transferable Skills” to be developed in graduate school education. The Ai-Dai Transferable Skills consist of five abilities: leadership, communication, problem solving, career development, and ethics.
All of Ehime University’s master’s and doctoral graduate schools and academic departments provide a curriculum that enables graduate students to acquire Ehime University transferable skills by clearly indicating the classes and research guidance that correspond to Ehime University Transferable Skills. In addition, the status of their acquisition from enrollment to completion is visualized objectively and multidimensionally for each student so that the student concerned can check it.
