Research Students (International Students)
Ehime University accepts students who wish to conduct research on specific specialized matters under guidance and education.

Application Guidelines
qualifications of candidacy
University graduates (including those who expect to graduate by the time of admission) or those who are recognized as having equivalent or superior academic ability and who wish to study a specific subject in one of the above-mentioned faculties.

- Those who are eligible to apply under the qualification of “those who are recognized as having equivalent or higher academic ability” are those who have applied for and been approved for the qualification in advance.
- Applicants who wish to apply for eligibility should notify the team in charge of the respective faculty.
Application Documents Acceptance Period
- For April enrollment: [First semester] Mid-February each year
- For October enrollment: [Second semester] Late July – early August
However, if you are applying from abroad and through an agent, the deadline is early to mid December for the first semester and early June for the second semester.
Applications by mail will not be accepted. Applications must be submitted in person or by proxy.

matriculation fee
84,600 yen (free of charge for those who have graduated or completed their studies at the University)
tuition fee
28,900 yen per month (173,400 yen per semester) (14,400 yen per month for those who have graduated or completed their studies at the University)
selection process
Selection will be made by the faculty committee of the department to which the applicant has applied, based on the documents submitted at the time of application.
