Graduate Credited Auditors and Auditing Students (International Students)
We accept students who are interested in taking graduate classes at our university.
Credited Auditors can earn credits for the courses they have studied.
Auditing students cannot earn credits.

Application Guidelines
qualifications of candidacy
Those who are qualified in both 1. and 2. below
- Those who have completed 16 years of school education in a foreign country (or 18 years of school education in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine at the Graduate School of Medicine, or a master’s or professional degree at the Graduate School of Medicine, Graduate School of Nursing, Graduate School of Science and Technology, and United Graduate School of Agricultural Science). (including those who are expected to complete the course by the time of admission) or those who are designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
- Persons who have taken the “Japanese” subject of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), or who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level N2 or higher (Level 2 or higher for examinees before 2009) administered by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services Foundation, or who are recognized by the University as having Japanese language ability equivalent or superior to this level.

The above “those who are recognized by the University as having equivalent or better Japanese language ability” means those who have been admitted to a Japanese graduate school, university, junior college, or college of technology, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “university, etc.”). The above-mentioned “persons who are recognized by the University as having equivalent or superior Japanese language ability” are those who have graduated from a Japanese graduate school, university, junior college, technical college, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “university, etc.”) or graduated from a foreign university, etc. majoring in Japanese.
Application Documents Acceptance Period
First semester: Early March each year
Second semester: Early September each year
However, applications cannot be submitted by the proxy of each graduate school.

The application must be prepared in Japanese. (Documents written in any language other than Japanese must be accompanied by a Japanese translation.)

selection process
Selection will be made by the faculty committee of the graduate school to which the applicant has applied, based on the documents submitted at the time of application.
