Credited Auditors and Auditing Students (International Students)
We accept students who are interested in taking classes at Ehime University for the purpose of self-development, acquisition of knowledge on the job, acquisition of qualifications, etc. Credited Auditors can earn credits for the classes they take.
Auditing students cannot earn credits.

Application Guidelines
qualifications of candidacy
Those who are qualified in both 1. and 2. below
- Those who have completed 12 years of school education in a foreign country (including those who are expected to have completed the same by the time of admission) or those who have been designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as equivalent to the above.
- Persons who have taken the “Japanese” subject of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), or who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level N2 or higher (Level 2 or higher for examinees before 2009) administered by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services Foundation, or who are recognized by the University as having Japanese language ability equivalent or superior to this level.

- The above “those who are recognized by the University as having equivalent or better Japanese language ability” means those who have been admitted to a Japanese university, junior college, or college of technology, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “university, etc.”). The above-mentioned “persons recognized by the University as having equivalent or superior Japanese language ability” means graduates of Japanese universities, junior colleges, colleges of technology, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “universities, etc.”) or graduates of foreign universities, etc. majoring in Japanese.
Application Documents Acceptance Period
- First semester: Early March each year
- Second semester: Early September each year
However, applications cannot be submitted by agents of individual faculties.

The application must be prepared in Japanese. (Documents written in any language other than Japanese must be accompanied by a Japanese translation.)

Documents that can prove Japanese language proficiency | A certificate of the results of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) issued by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) or a certificate of the results of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) issued by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services Foundation (JEESF), or other documents that can certify Japanese language proficiency. Note: “Other documents that can certify Japanese language proficiency” means documents certifying grades issued by educational institutions such as universities. |

selection process
Selection will be made by the faculty committee of the department to which the applicant has applied, based on the documents submitted at the time of application.
