Credited Auditors
We accept students who have the purpose of self-development, acquiring knowledge on the job, obtaining qualifications, etc., as well as those who are interested in the classes offered by the University.
Credited Auditors can earn credits for the courses they have studied.
Auditing students cannot earn credits.

Application Guidelines
qualifications of candidacy
- High school or secondary school graduates (including those expected to graduate by the time of admission)
- Those who have completed 12 years of formal education (including those who are expected to have completed it by the time of admission).
- Persons who have completed 12 years of school education in a foreign country or those who have been designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as equivalent thereto.
- Persons who have completed a course of study at an overseas educational institution accredited by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as having a course of study equivalent to that of a high school course.
- (2) A high school course of a special training school (limited to those whose duration of study is 3 years or longer and who meet other criteria specified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology). (limited to those who have completed a senior high school course of a special training school (limited to those who have completed at least 3 years of study and meet other criteria specified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) on or after the date specified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
- Persons designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
- Those who have passed the high school equivalency examination in accordance with the high school equivalency examination regulations (including those who have passed the university entrance qualification examination in accordance with the former regulations).
- Other students who have reached 18 years of age and who are recognized by the university as having academic ability equivalent or superior to that of a high school graduate.
Application Documents Acceptance Period
- First semester: Early March each year
- Second semester: Early September each year

selection process
Selection will be made by the faculty committee of the department to which the applicant has applied, based on the documents submitted at the time of application.
