E.U. Regional Commons Student Communicators
What is an E.U. Regional Commons Student Communicator?
E.U. Regional Commons Student Communicators (hereinafter referred to as “Student Communicators”) are students appointed by the Ehime University Public Relations Office to engage in activities aimed at promoting two-way dialogue between the local community and the university through the planning, recording and dissemination of digital content. They are based at the E.U. Regional Commons (Hime Terrace) on the Johoku Campus.
With the goal of “connecting Ehime University and the local community,” we will communicate with the local community as a university student of Ehime University, incorporate their opinions, and distribute videos with useful information for local residents, prospective students of Ehime University, and students of Ehime University.
The created videos will be posted on Hime Terrace monitors and the official Instagram of the Student Communicators.

Student Communicator Activities
Event planning and video planning
A series of meetings will be held with the teachers involved in the student communicators’ activities. We reconcile what the students want to do and what is needed, create a scenario for a single video, and discuss the shooting schedule.

Video Production
We shoot and edit videos based on the plan. We also interview people involved in the event and try to communicate from the students’ point of view. We take on the challenge of filming with an awareness of communication and creating an atmosphere that can only be achieved by students.
We receive guidance on filming, editing, and narration techniques from outside instructors who are actually involved in the production of TV programs. We devise and carefully finish our work to convey the ideas we want to convey through our projects.

Video Delivery
The video we have created conveys the initiatives of Ehime University and the local community. The video we created conveys the full appeal of our activities.

Past Activities
Hime Terrace Bench Production Project
We were involved in a “bench production” project with Kamifuyuana High School in Ehime.
The students of the wood processing group of the forest environment department of Kamuyuana High School created the bench, which is installed in front of Hime Terrace.
Student communicators filmed the process of bench production, the assembly work and the ceremony. The edited video is now being aired on the Hime Terrace vision, so please take a look.
