On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, a delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Muoi, Vice Chairwoman of Ben Tre Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Lanh, Executive Vice President of ESUHAI Co., Ltd visited Executive Director and Vice President Mitsunobu Kazuhiro (Director of Institute for International Relations)
First, Vice Chair Nguyen Thi Be Muoi gave opening remarks by expressing her desire to encourage many talented people from Ben Tre Province to study at Ehime University. In response, Executive Director and Vice President Mitsunobu Kazuhiro expressed that since there are currently only two Vietnamese students at Ehime University, he would like to accept more Vietnamese students to play an active role in Vietnam and Japan.
Then, Executive Director and Vice President Mitsunobu Kazuhiro gave an overview of Ehime University and the acceptance of international student, and Associate Professor Itsuki Tomoko, Manager of the Office of Career Development Program for International Students, explained the program. Following this, officials from Ben Tre Province asked specific questions and opinions on future student exchange, and a constructive exchange of views took place.
Ehime University will further deepen mutual exchange in various fields, such as student exchange and joint research, with Vietnam and Ben Tre Province.
