Kosuke Nishi receives Young Scientist Award from JAACT

 Kosuke Nishi, Associate Professor of Department of Bioscience, Graduate School of Agriculture, has received the Young Scientist Award from Japanese Association for Animal Cell Technology (JAACT). The award recognizes Nishi’s outstanding research contributions to the identification of bioactive molecules in foods that affect the immune system and understanding of their mechanisms of action. Nishi was presented with the award on March 7, 2018 at Osaka University. JAACT, established in 1991, is a scientific society whose members conduct basic and applied research in the area of animal cell technology in academia and industry.
